Food Pantry:
Members help publicize and maintain the St. John emergency food pantry
stock through the contributions of our members.
Habitat for Humanity:
Volunteers work with the Lutheran Cooperative Ministries (LuCoM) to build Habitat
houses. In 2002, we are working on our 7th Habitat house.

Interfaith Hospitality Network:
Team members and volunteers help with one or more of a variety of tasks
necessary to provide food and shelter for temporarily homeless families
who come about 4 times each year to spend a week as guests in our church.

The
LuCoM Ministry is an organization of area Lutheran Churches
working together in a cooperative ministry to accomplish as a group what could
not be accomplished by individual churches. See the
link for a sampling of some of the ministry projects.

Social Outreach Ministries:
Social Outreach Team members oversee ways we can extend Christ's
compassion and helpfulness to the ill, aged, underprivileged, imprisoned,
homeless and all in need of either physical or spiritual aid.
