Pastor Mark Graham came into my office today and asked me how my day was and, without hesitation, I told him that it was great. After he left, I asked myself why I thought my day was great. I hadn’t won the lottery, the Oscar, Grammy, World Cup, Masters, Wimbledon, Superbowl, or any of the great accomplishments that makes a person yell their lungs out, “I am going to Disney World!” So why was my day great? I realized that Easter was around the corner and I would be reminded (one more time) that God had sent His son Jesus Christ to the cross with one item on the agenda---to save a wretch like me. If that does not make your day great, I don’t know what can.
