The God of angles
Welcome to our pastors' blog page!

Elijah, Gerry, and I look forward to posting comments and observations here as we live into the presence of God and the kingdom that has come near in Jesus Christ. We pray you will find them helpful or provocative or perhaps even challenging. If you would like to respond, please feel free to drop us an email. Our addresses are listed with our staff information.

Of course, just as we start this blogging, we learn that blogging is quickly becoming so-yesterday. But we don't mind being old-fashioned. Being old-fashioned has a certain fashionable quality, after all.

Enough of that. Here's what happened to me today that made me particularly aware of the presence of God the Holy Spirit. I was talking with a person who was telling me an amazing story of life, faith, and the power of Christ to change hearts. But she has come into the kingdom of God more or less kicking and screaming.

She said, "God has come at me at angles."

God has come at me at angles.

I will be thinking about her insight for many days, I'm sure. I will be looking for the Lord in my peripheral vision. I will be open to seeing Him coming at me at a glance, at an angle.

What about you?
