Youth Leaders
Youth leaders at St. John have the sacred calling to come alongside young people on their spiritual journey to equip them to become disciples of Jesus Christ.

Our youth leadership team is committed to upholding these values with young people:
  • Sharing a passion for God's Word, Church, and mission
  • Sharing the joy, hardship, and adventure of discipleship
  • Embodying Christian character as role models
  • Fostering trusting relationships where they can be open and honest about their lives in small groups
  • Entrusting youth with the radical gospel of Jesus to change their lives and schools
All youth leaders must:
  • Have an interview with Corey (Youth Minister)
  • Sign and commit to the youth leader covenant
  • Have a background check
  • Sign a youth leadership standards agreement
  • Attend a monthly leadership meeting
  • Be trained to lead a small group
We are blessed to have a team of youth leaders that are committed to embodying and proclaiming the radical good news of Jesus' Kingdom with young people.

If you are interested in joining our team, please email Corey Paxton:  corey@stjohnlutheran.org to begin the process.
